EGYPTIAN POWER

Egyptian Power is an early-maturing bush zucchini variety, characterized by a compact, non-branching bush and a predominantly female flowering type. The fruits have a cylindrical shape with a weakly ribbed structure, a light green color with dark green longitudinal stripes, and a weight ranging from 0.5 to 0.9 kg. The fruit flesh is whitish-yellow, dense, crunchy, tender, and juicy, ensuring excellent taste qualities. Thanks to its good transportability, this variety is convenient for transport and storage.

The variety is characterized by high yield and cold hardiness, making it suitable for growing in various climatic conditions. Fruits are used both for fresh consumption and for canning. Young ovaries 10-15 cm long are often used instead of cucumbers in salads, which expands the possibilities of using this zucchini in cooking.

Growing agrotechnics includes sowing seeds at the end of May - beginning of June after the end of spring frosts. Seeds are sown in holes of 2-3 pieces each with a distance of not less than 60 cm between them, and weak plants are removed after seedlings appear. Seedlings are sown in early May and planted in open ground in early June at the 2-4 leaf stage. Plant care consists of regular watering, loosening, hilling, and feeding. Fruits are harvested regularly with an interval of 2-3 days to avoid overripening and preserve their best qualities.
