The Phoenix Zucchini variety is a mid-early variety with a maturation period from germination to the first harvest of 43-50 days. The plant is strong, semi-vining with a bush form, has medium-sized green leaves with light mottling. The fruits are cylindrical, dark green in color with lighter stripes and streaks, and have a thin skin. The zucchini flesh is tender and juicy, providing excellent taste qualities.

The variety is characterized by high yield, which significantly exceeds the indicators of standard varieties. Marketable yield in various regions reaches from 316 to 971 centners per hectare, making Phoenix a profitable choice for growing both in open ground and for industrial production. The fruits have a weight of 0.5 to 1.5 kg, contain 4.4% dry matter and 2.1% total sugar, which confirms their high quality and taste merits.

The Phoenix Zucchini is recommended for use both fresh and for all types of processing, including canning. For successful growing, sowing for seedlings at the end of April - beginning of May followed by transplanting into open ground after the end of spring frosts is recommended. Optimal care conditions include maintaining a temperature of 23-25°C, regular watering, weeding, and feeding. Harvesting is carried out 1-2 times a week when the fruits reach a length of 15-20 cm, which allows obtaining high-quality products and maximum yield.
