Imperator

Imperator F1 is an ultra-early hybrid of bush type, developed by the breeding company Sakata (Japan). The ripening period is 30-37 days, allowing harvest significantly earlier than other hybrids. The plant is compact, strong, with well-developed foliage, ensuring even fruit load and stable fruiting. The hybrid adapts to various growing conditions, successfully grows both in greenhouses and open ground, including first and second planting seasons, and demonstrates high yield even in hot climates. The fruits of the Imperator zucchini have a cylindrical shape, length from 16 to 22 cm, and weight of about 300-400 g. Their distinguishing feature is a rich lettuce or olive color, which is retained during summer cultivation and does not fade during transport and storage. The flesh is tender, tasty, retains structure and nutritional value even when overgrown, making the hybrid versatile for fresh market use, as well as for processing, pickling, and freezing. Harvest is usually collected at a fruit length of about 15 cm, considered optimal for marketing. Imperator F1 is characterized by high resistance to a number of viral diseases, including yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV), as well as powdery mildew and other pathogens. The hybrid possesses strong immunity and the ability to quickly adapt to adverse conditions, ensuring prolonged fruiting and stable high yields — up to 130 tons per hectare at a planting density of 13-15 thousand plants per hectare. These qualities make Imperator F1 an attractive choice for farmers aiming to obtain high-quality, marketable crops.
