The Kosmonaut zucchini variety is an ultracarly and highly productive bush type that reaches maturity just 46 days after sowing. The plant is compact with a small number of tendrils, which facilitates care and allows for effective use of planting area. The fruits have a cylindrical, elongated shape with smooth dark green skin decorated with fine light green speckled pattern. The average fruit weight ranges from 1.3 to 1.5 kg, making them convenient for various culinary purposes.

The zucchini flesh is white, dense, juicy and sugary, with a small seed cavity, which improves convenience when preparing dishes. Fruits store well and are suitable both for fresh consumption and for canning and freezing. Thanks to their high yield and excellent transportability, the Kosmonaut variety is widely used in different regions, especially in open ground conditions.

For successful cultivation of the Kosmonaut zucchini, it is recommended to choose light, fertile soils with good moisture and sufficient lighting. Sowing seeds is carried out in late May - early June after the threat of spring frosts, followed by thinning of seedlings. Seedlings are sown in early May and transplanted into open ground at the stage of 2-4 leaves. Regular harvesting of fruits at intervals of 2-3 days prevents them from overripening and helps maintain a high yield.
