The raspberry aphid (Amphorophora rubi) is a significant pest belonging to the Aphididae family within the order Hemiptera. The life cycle of this aphid involves overwintering as eggs on the canes and buds. During the growing season, the pest reproduces via parthenogenesis, leading to rapid population growth. These insects tend to colonize the undersides of leaves and developing shoot tips, where they feed protected from predators and weather conditions.
