The three-striped fruit fly (Anastrepha trivittata) is a significant insect pest belonging to the order Diptera and the family Tephritidae. This species primarily attacks a range of tropical and subtropical fruit-bearing plants. By targeting fruit in various stages of maturity, the insect ensures a constant food source for its offspring.
