Description
The genus Autographa belongs to the family Noctuidae within the order Lepidoptera. These moths are characterized by a distinct metallic-looking, Y-shaped mark on their forewings, which serves as a primary identification feature for the most common species, Autographa gamma.
These insects are highly polyphagous and represent significant threats to global agriculture. They target a diverse range of host plants, including sugar beets, potatoes, cabbages, legumes, and various cereals.
