These insects are characterized by their intricate, lace-like wing structure. The host range of Bistrispinaria includes various shrubs, ornamental plants, and some tree species. They typically colonize the underside of leaves, where they form feeding colonies. Their presence is often detected by the specific visual patterns left on the leaf surface, which correspond to their intense feeding activity on plant cells.
