The small green lacewing (Chrysopa microphya) belongs to the order Neuroptera, family Chrysopidae. While the family is widely recognized for its beneficial predatory species, this specific member is documented as a pest capable of causing significant damage to horticultural and agricultural crops under favorable climatic conditions.
This species primarily attacks fruit trees, berry bushes, and various vegetable crops.
