Description

Furthermore, the excretion of honeydew promotes the growth of sooty mold fungi, which coat the needles and inhibit the photosynthetic process, further stressing the plant.
Protection measures should be applied preventively or upon detection of initial colonies. Sustainable management of this pest involves several key strategies:

- Chemical control using systemic insecticides when infestation thresholds are exceeded.
