Colladonus is a genus of insects within the order Hemiptera, belonging to the leafhopper family (Cicadellidae). These insects are recognized as significant agricultural pests, known for their ability to damage various botanical species through direct feeding and the transmission of harmful plant pathogens.
These pests primarily target fruit trees, berry bushes, and various vegetables. By piercing plant tissues and extracting sap, Colladonus negatively impacts the overall vigor of the host plant, often resulting in stunted growth, leaf chlorosis, and reduced fruit quality during the harvest season.
