Decadarchis is a genus of moths belonging to the family Tineidae. Within agricultural entomology, this pest is recognized for its larvae's ability to bore into fruit and seeds, often leading to severe infestations in tropical and subtropical crops. As members of the order Lepidoptera, they undergo a complete metamorphosis, which defines their impact on agricultural production.

The host range of Decadarchis includes various economically significant plants such as bananas, coconuts, pineapples, and other tropical fruits. The larvae are the primary damaging stage, as they penetrate the fruit's epidermis and feed on the internal tissues.
