Eretmocerus californicus is a beneficial parasitic wasp (Hymenoptera: Aphelinidae) primarily recognized as a biological control agent rather than a plant pest. The host range of this parasitoid includes several species of whiteflies. By acting as an endoparasitoid, it specifically targets the nymph stages of the whitefly.
