Euclemensia is a genus of moths belonging to the family Cosmopterigidae within the order Lepidoptera. These insects are recognized in agricultural and forestry sectors as specialized pests that can cause significant physiological stress to their host plants due to their specific larval feeding habits.

The primary hosts of Euclemensia, such as the well-known Euclemensia bassettella, are typically oak species. The larvae of this moth species are known for their concealed development within plant tissues or galls, which protects them from environmental stressors and traditional contact-based pest control methods.

The life cycle of Euclemensia consists of four distinct stages: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The lifecycle is synchronized with the host plant's phenology.
