This insect feeds on a variety of hosts, with a strong preference for grapevines (Vitis vinifera), fruit trees, and various herbaceous plants. By piercing plant tissues and extracting sap, the leafhopper inflicts stress on the host plants, which can manifest in stunted growth and weakened vigor.
