Systematic position: The New Zealand grass moth (Graphania mutans) belongs to the order Lepidoptera and the family Noctuidae. It is a native species to New Zealand and is recognized as a pest capable of causing economic damage to various plants in both natural and agricultural environments.
Affected crops: This moth is highly polyphagous, meaning it feeds on a wide array of hosts.
