Hexamermis cornuta is a parasitic nematode belonging to the Mermithidae family. Unlike parasitic worms that attack crops directly, this organism is an entomopathogen, meaning it specifically infects and develops inside various insect hosts, often acting as a natural regulator of pest populations in agricultural fields.
