Meteorus versicolor

Meteorus versicolor is a species of parasitic wasp belonging to the family Braconidae (order Hymenoptera). These insects are widely recognized for their role as natural enemies of various lepidopteran pests, helping to maintain ecological balance in both forest and agricultural environments.

The host range of this wasp includes various caterpillars, such as those of the gypsy moth or the brown-tail moth.
