The Mimus (lat. Mimus) is a genus of insects belonging to the family Curculionidae, order Coleoptera. These weevils are notable for their highly specialized life strategies, which allow them to exploit host plants effectively while remaining hidden from predators and manual inspection.

The primary hosts for Mimus include various species within the Salicaceae family, specifically willows and poplars. These pests are particularly problematic in nurseries and young forest plantations where the infestation of terminal shoots can drastically hinder the vertical growth of the saplings.
