Monoctonus tianshanensis is a species of parasitic wasp belonging to the family Braconidae (order Hymenoptera). It is recognized primarily for its role as a specialized natural enemy that targets various species of aphids. Found predominantly in regions influenced by the Tianshan mountain ecosystem, it acts as a significant biological regulator in both wild and agricultural environments.

The host range of this wasp includes aphids that feed on cereal crops, vegetables, and fruit plants. By suppressing aphid populations, these insects help maintain the health of various crops.
