The Oriental armyworm (Mythimna separata) is a significant lepidopteran pest belonging to the Noctuidae family. This pest is highly polyphagous, targeting a wide array of crops. Its primary hosts are cereals such as rice, maize, wheat, sorghum, and pearl millet.
