The chervil miner fly (Phytomyza chaerophylli) is an insect species belonging to the order Diptera and the family Agromyzidae. It is a specialized pest that primarily infests plants of the Apiaceae family, causing damage to both wild species and commercial vegetable crops.

The host range of this pest includes economically important crops such as carrots, parsley, celery, and parsnips. By feeding on the internal tissues of the leaves, the larvae can cause significant physiological stress to the plants, often leading to reduced vigor and yield losses in commercial production.
