Description
Pseudapanteles is a genus of parasitic wasps belonging to the family Braconidae (order Hymenoptera). In agronomic terms, these insects are classified as beneficial parasitoids rather than pests, as they play a critical role in the natural suppression of lepidopteran larvae that can damage crops.
The biology of this genus is characterized by endoparasitism. Female wasps lay their eggs directly into the bodies of host larvae.
