Systematic position: The genus Pseudochorthippus belongs to the order Orthoptera, family Acrididae, and subfamily Gomphocerinae. These insects are commonly known as slant-faced grasshoppers and play a significant role in grassland and agricultural ecosystems across temperate regions.
