Pteroptrix is a genus of parasitic wasps belonging to the family Aphelinidae. These insects are highly specialized parasitoids that play a significant role in the natural regulation of various scale insects (Coccoidea), which are considered primary pests in citrus orchards and ornamental greenhouses globally.
