Description
The insect genus Python is categorized within the order Coleoptera and the family Curculionidae. These pests are recognized for their specialized feeding habits, which target specific plant tissues and can lead to significant economic damage in commercial agriculture if left unmanaged.
The host range includes a variety of legumes and several industrial crops. The pests primarily attack the stems and reproductive organs of the plants.
