Ramburiella is a genus of grasshoppers belonging to the family Acrididae (subfamily Gomphocerinae). These insects are recognized as potential pests in various agricultural regions, particularly in arid and semi-arid environments where they can exhibit population outbreaks that threaten field crops and pastures.

This pest primarily infests cereals, forage grasses, and legumes. Due to their voracious feeding habits, both nymphs and adult grasshoppers can cause severe defoliation of host plants. When populations are dense, they can destroy entire fields of crops, leading to significant economic losses for agricultural producers.

The biology of Ramburiella follows a typical grasshopper life cycle. Eggs are laid in the soil within protective cases called pods, where they overwinter to survive harsh climate conditions.
