Description
Rastrococcus iceryoides is a significant pest belonging to the Pseudococcidae family within the order Hemiptera. This mealybug species is known for its ability to infest a wide variety of perennial crops and ornamental plants, causing considerable economic damage in agricultural settings worldwide.
The pest primarily targets fruit trees, such as mangoes, citrus varieties, and fig trees.
