Scutellista is a genus of insects belonging to the order Hymenoptera and the family Pteromalidae. Within the context of agricultural science, these insects are primarily recognized for their role as natural enemies of various scale insects, functioning as effective biological control agents in managed orchards and ornamental landscapes.
