Heracleum aphid wasp (Latin: Trioxys heraclei) is a parasitoid belonging to the order Hymenoptera and the family Braconidae. It is a highly specialized insect that targets specific aphid populations associated with plants of the Apiaceae family. From an agronomic standpoint, it is recognized as a natural enemy that can significantly impact the population dynamics of pests if managed correctly within an ecosystem.

The primary hosts for this parasitoid are aphids infesting crops such as carrots, parsnips, and celery. While the wasp itself is beneficial as a biological control agent, the presence of these aphids causes substantial damage to crops.
