Plettke birch

The Plettke birch (Betula x plettkei Junge) is a natural hybrid resulting from the cross-pollination of the silver birch (Betula pendula) and the downy birch (Betula pubescens). It belongs to the Betulaceae family. The native distribution area of this hybrid is primarily in Northern and Central Europe, where the ranges of its parent species overlap.
