Shaggy peashrub (Caragana jubata) is a perennial deciduous shrub belonging to the Fabaceae family. Known for its distinct appearance and extreme hardiness, this plant is native to the cold, mountainous regions of Siberia, Mongolia, and Central Asia. It is often regarded as a survivor of the alpine zones, capable of thriving in harsh environmental conditions that are unsuitable for most other woody species.
