Meadow sage

Meadow sage (Salvia pratensis L.) is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family. Native to Europe and parts of Western Asia, this species thrives in open grassland habitats, meadows, and along forest edges. It is highly valued for its hardiness, drought tolerance, and its role in maintaining biodiversity within agricultural landscapes.

The botanical structure consists of a basal rosette of wrinkled, ovate leaves and erect, square-shaped stems reaching heights of up to 90 cm.
