Sand dropseed (Sporobolus cryptandrus) is a perennial bunchgrass within the Poaceae family. Known for its remarkable resilience, this species serves as a critical component in grassland ecosystems and is highly regarded in agricultural land management for its ability to stabilize loose soil.
