Engineering composition: what is inside?

• Highly refined mineral oils: provide prolonged contact between the product and the leaf cuticle. They effectively dissolve the waxy layer characteristic of corn, allowing the active ingredient of herbicides or fungicides to penetrate deep into plant tissues.
• Fatty alcohols: act as powerful wetting agents. By reducing surface tension, they ensure that the spray droplet does not bead off but spreads as a thin film, covering the maximum leaf surface area.
• Petroleum-based components: create a protective barrier that resists wash-off from precipitation and reduces the solution's sensitivity to water hardness.

Practical application for the agronomist

When working with corn, the primary challenges are the high degree of pubescence and the waxy leaf cuticle. Korvet solves the problem of "anchoring" the product: it physically holds the droplet until adsorption occurs. The liquid formulation is convenient for tank mixing, as the product homogenizes quickly without leaving sediments or flakes.
