Description
Anemone Hollandia – a compact perennial plant reaching 20–25 cm in height, featuring bright red petals up to 8 cm wide with a white central border and black dots in the center. The flowers have a saucer shape, an aromatic scent, and consist of eight round-oval petals.
For successful cultivation of Anemone Hollandia, choose well-drained, loose soil enriched with organic matter. The plant prefers partial shade under the canopy of trees and does not tolerate water stagnation near the roots. Care includes timely fertilization: plant the tubers into the soil in late March–April for spring planting, and in late September–early October for autumn replanting.
Blooming occurs twice per season – in May and September. With proper care, buds fully open, reaching a diameter of 5 cm, making the plant popular for both flower beds and container planting. Frost resistance is moderate: up to -10 °C, so it is recommended to cover the plants from severe frosts during winter.
