GOLDEN FLOW

The 'Golden Flow' apple variety is a late-winter variety with a pyramidal crown of medium density and a medium-sized tree. The fruits of this variety have a truncated-conical shape, regular form, and medium size, weighing from 120 to 140 grams. The main fruit color is green with a large number of subcutaneous dots; there is no skin color. The flesh is creamy, dense, semi-oily, crunchy, and very juicy, with a harmoniously sweet-sour taste and pleasant aroma. The chemical composition of the fruits includes 17.8% dry matter, 10.8% sugars, 0.65% titratable acids, and 9.8 mg of ascorbic acid per 100 grams.

The fruits reach maturity at the end of October, allowing the apples to be used during the winter period. The fruits are well preserved under artificial cooling conditions for up to 200 days, ensuring a long consumption period. The apple tree begins to bear fruit already in the 2nd-3rd year after planting, is characterized by high yield and regular fruiting. To prevent fruit miniaturization, it is recommended to regulate the yield manually or using chemical agents.

The 'Golden Flow' variety is distinguished by good winter hardiness and drought resistance, which makes it suitable for cultivation in southern regions of Russia and the North Caucasus. It possesses high resistance to scab due to the presence of the Rvi6 (Vf) gene, and is also tolerant to powdery mildew. The fruits are not prone to dropping, which facilitates harvest collection and improves its quality.
