PASCHALNOYE

The Paschalnoye apple variety is a winter variety created by Russian breeders, characterized by high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases, including scab. The tree is of medium size, has a pyramidal crown, possesses high endurance, and can withstand drought. Additionally, the variety is noted for early fruiting and regular annual yield, making it attractive to gardeners.

The fruits of the Paschalnoye apple are large, weighing on average about 160 grams, but can reach up to 250 grams. They have a correct round-truncated-conical shape, a dense, smooth, and glossy skin of a rich red color with a burgundy tint. The flesh is red-pink, dense, juicy, and tender, with a tart-sweet taste and a pleasant aroma. Thanks to the tough skin and good marketability, the apples withstand transportation well and can be stored in a cool place until the end of February – mid-March.

A distinctive feature of the variety is its decorative nature: in spring, the trees are covered with pink flowers resembling cherry blossoms, and in autumn, the foliage acquires a carmine-red hue. Paschalnoye is a partially self-fertile variety, so for maximum productivity, the presence of pollinators with a matching flowering period is recommended. High disease resistance, winter hardiness, and attractive appearance make this variety universal and in demand for cultivation in various climatic conditions.
