SIBERIA FALLING

The decorative apple tree of the Siberia Falling variety is a medium-sized tree with a unique weeping crown shape, reaching a height of up to 2.5 meters. The crown is dense, with thin, straight and arched branches featuring smooth grey bark. Leaves are small, elongated, light green with a red tint, having a reddish-brown color when emerging. Flowers are bright pink, crimson, of medium size, with a pleasant aroma, forming umbrella-shaped inflorescences. Blooming is abundant and occurs in the average period, creating an effective decorative garden ornament.

The fruits of the apple tree are very small, round, with a brick-red coloration over the entire surface and red flesh. They have a rough, dry structure and a astringent taste with bitterness, making them less suitable for fresh consumption, however, the miniature fruits are suitable for culinary processing, including the preparation of jams, jellies and cider. Fruits remain on the tree for a long time, which adds decorative value to the plant.

The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought resistance and resistance to diseases and pests, which facilitates care and makes it suitable for greening of various territories, including parks, squares and small gardens. Cultivation is possible in several forms: wide dense bush, stem with umbrella crown height from 1 to 4 meters and carpet form over the soil surface. Forming a weeping crown requires regular pruning and care during the first few years, which allows obtaining a decorative tree with a crown diameter of more than 1.5 meters.
