The 'Solnechnoye' apple variety is a dwarf tree with an oval spur-type crown, reaching a height of 2.5 to 3.5 meters depending on growing conditions. The shoots are of medium thickness, gray, and fuzzy, while the leaves are egg-shaped with delicate veination and a pointed tip. The flowers are large, saucer-shaped, and light pink, giving the tree decorative appeal. The bark is smooth, reddish-brown with a slight sheen. This variety is distinguished by its high winter hardiness and resistance to fungal diseases, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. The fruits of the 'Solnechnoye' apple tree are large, weighing about 190 grams, with a truncated-oval shape and smooth skin. The main fruit color is light greenish, changing to yellowish as it ripens, with a bright crimson blush appearing on the sunny side. The flesh is creamy, dense, juicy, and very aromatic, with a superior dessert taste, tart-sweet with a pleasant aftertaste. The chemical composition of the fruits includes a high content of dry matter (24.6%), sugars (11–15%), vitamin C (9–11 mg/100 g), and pectins, making them nutritious and delicious. The ripening period falls at the beginning-mid-September, and the fruits are well stored in controlled conditions until November-December, maintaining their taste qualities and appearance. The 'Solnechnoye' variety is early-bearing, starting to yield as early as the second or third year after planting. The apple tree is characterized by high yield – up to 200 kg per tree, making it attractive for gardeners. Thanks to its frost resistance and disease resistance, as well as its unpretentiousness in care, this variety is suitable for growing in open ground on well-lit plots. The fruits are versatile in use: they can be consumed fresh, processed, canned, and used for making juices. The dwarf form of the tree facilitates harvest collection and allows the variety to be used in ornamental horticulture.
