The 'Kapris' farm, led by Vyacheslav Vasilyevich Shepelev, has presented the result of years of breeding: the 'Geisha Dance' carnation. This hybrid is built on the concept of universal adaptability, combining compact dimensions with high-intensity flowering potential.

Plant architecture and vegetative frame

The key feature of the variety is a balanced bush height, ranging from 25 to 35 cm. This range allows the plant to maintain stability without the use of growth regulators, which is crucial for potted crops. The stem possesses sufficient rigidity to support inflorescences with a diameter of 3 to 9 cm, preventing lodging even when the double petals become saturated with moisture.

Technical flowering parameters

• Inflorescence morphology: The use of a double (fully double) flowering type ensures high petal density, which increases the lifespan of each individual bloom on the stem.
• Color palette: Selection was conducted within the red-pink spectrum. Pigment saturation is stable and resistant to fading under direct sunlight when grown in open soil.
• Diameter range: The flexibility in bloom characteristics (3–9 cm) is enabled by varying agronomic practices (nutrient regimen, pinching frequency), making 'Geisha Dance' an effective tool for professional flower growers.

Practical application: pot vs. soil

The variety is engineered for dual-purpose use. In the pot segment, root volume capacity is critical, and this hybrid effectively colonizes mid-sized containers. In open soil, 'Geisha Dance' demonstrates increased resistance to temperature fluctuations due to the calibrated genetic code established by the 'Kapris' farm.
