Mon Amur

MON AMOUR is a herbaceous perennial plant from the carnation family, reaching a height of 20 to 30 cm. Its stems are branched and numerous, while the leaves are lanceolate-linear, 4–5 cm long and 3–4 mm wide. The plant has a compact bush form, forming a dense cushion of shoots.

MON AMOUR flowers are double, 4 to 6 cm in diameter, with ruffled petals. They can be white, pink, or red; in the «Pink Amour» variety, the flower has a pink-lilac hue with a dark tip on the petals that gradually fades by the end of blooming. Blooming starts in mid-June and continues until September, with the plant flowering for more than a month and a half.

The culture is undemanding: it prefers sunny spots but also develops well in light partial shade; the soil should be moist, slightly alkaline, and permeable. MON AMOUR is frost-resistant, making it suitable for use in both open gardens and rockeries, borders, flower beds, or even on balconies. To create a bright floral carpet, it is recommended to plant plants in groups to enhance the visual effect.
