The garden chrysanthemum variety 'Song of Poloniny' is a low-growing decorative plant with a compact, well-branched, spherical bush reaching 40 to 55 cm in height. This variety belongs to the Korean garden chrysanthemums of the double-flowered class, characterized by terracotta-red double blooms up to 7 cm in diameter. Flowering begins at the end of August and lasts approximately 22 days, making it an excellent choice for decorative garden and landscape design.
The plant exhibits high resistance to transplanting even during flowering, facilitating its use in mass plantings, borders, and as a potted plant. The vegetative period of chrysanthemum lasts about 130 days, of which 120 days occur from the start of vegetative growth until the onset of flowering. Decorative appeal is retained even when cut, lasting up to 11 days, allowing the flowers to be used for interior decoration.
The variety 'Song of Poloniny' was registered in Ukraine in 2015 and is recommended for cultivation in the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. The plant is supplied in containers ranging from 0.5 to 1.5 liters and can be planted from March to October. When shipped in autumn, chrysanthemums are packaged with care for the root system and upper stem part, ensuring plant survival and adaptability.
