Genetic Architecture and Growth Parameters

The 'Solnechnaya' chrysanthemum is a product of selective breeding by the Federal Research Center 'Subtropical Scientific Center of the RAS'. Classified as a decorative pot culture, this variety is optimized for compact growth environments. The plant height ranges from 30 to 60 cm, achieved through balanced internodal spacing, which eliminates the need for excessive use of plant growth regulators to maintain a dense, well-structured habit.

Flowering Morphology

A key technical feature of this hybrid is the production of large-flowered inflorescences, exceeding 10 cm in diameter. The spherical shape of the inflorescence is due to the dense arrangement of white ray florets, creating a precise geometric form. The variety's utility in pot culture is reinforced by its early blooming cycle (starting in September). With proper agrotechnical management, the plant maintains its aesthetic appeal for over 40 days.

Practical Operational Aspects

• Light Requirements: The crop demands placement in high-intensity light areas. Sunlight deficiency inevitably leads to stem elongation and reduced bloom intensity.
• Climatic Limitations: The variety exhibits moderate frost resistance. In temperate regions, containerized cultivation is preferred, allowing the plant to be moved into protected ground or greenhouses during periods of extreme temperature drops.
• Application: An ideal solution for the decorative landscaping of terraces, balconies, and small-scale architectural forms.
