The fruits of the Fomich variety are large, round, juicy, with thin skins and an average weight of 1.9 g. They have an acidic taste without noticeable aroma, contain 7.8% sugar, 3.5% acidity, and 10.7% vitamin C. The tasting score is 4.0 points.
The variety is characterized by resistance to low temperatures: it maintains integrity under snow cover or when frozen in ice. Susceptibility to exobasidium is rated at 2.0 points, and damage by pests was not noted. Fomich prefers peat soils of raised or transitional bogs with an optimal groundwater level of 30 cm.
