ALTAY CORNSHON

Altay Cornshon — an early-maturing cucumber variety, ripening in 43-48 days after sowing. The fruits have a spindle shape, green color with medium-length stripes, large bumps with black fuzz, short and weighing 50 to 75 grams. The fruit length-to-width ratio is approximately 3.5:1, giving them an attractive oval appearance. This variety is characterized by its crisp texture and intense cucumber aroma, making it ideal for fresh consumption, canning, pickling, and preparing summer salads.

The Altay Cornshon variety is intended for cultivation in open ground and is bee-pollinated. Sowing seeds is recommended directly into the soil in May-June or through seedlings, which are transplanted at the end of May to early June in the 3-4 true leaf stage. The optimal planting scheme is 30x70 cm. To achieve the best yield, frequent harvesting of fruits in the cornshon stage is recommended.
