Avanturin

Avanturin cucumber is an early-maturing hybrid of the cornichon type, featuring cylindrical, medium-ribbed fruits of deep green color. The fruits are dense and firm, measuring 18 to 21 cm in length and 180 to 210 grams in weight, without thickening or characteristic stems. Plants are strong, open, and compact with medium-sized leaves, facilitating easy cultivation and maintenance.

This hybrid exhibits high resistance to major cucumber diseases such as cucumber mosaic virus (CMV), ascochytosis, and powdery mildew. It maintains consistent fruit length throughout the entire fruiting period, without elongation toward the end of the cycle, ensuring a high percentage of standard produce and minimal occurrence of pointed fruits. These qualities make Avanturin particularly attractive for packing and commercial cultivation.
