BALCONY BEAUTY HIKMET

Cucumber variety "Balcony Beauty Hikmet" is an ultra-early parthenocarpic hybrid specifically developed for cultivation in home conditions, on balconies, windowsills, as well as in open ground and greenhouses. The plant features compact size, medium height, and medium branching, with shortened internodes. Flowering is predominantly female and clustered, enabling the formation of up to eight fruits per axil. Fruits have an oval-cylindrical shape, length from 6 to 10 cm, and weight of about 85–90 grams, dark green color with slight warts and white stripes on the skin. This variety is renowned for its high flavor quality: cucumbers are aromatic, with a slight sweet taste and no bitterness, making them ideal for fresh consumption in salads. Additionally, the fruits are excellent for pickling and preserving, retaining firmness, crisp texture, and attractive color. Yield of the variety is approximately 5.4 kg per square meter, and from 3–4 plants, you can harvest up to 9–11 kg of cucumbers per season. Fruit set begins 40–42 days after emergence, and harvesting is recommended daily for maximum productivity. Variety "Balcony Beauty Hikmet" is characterized by its low maintenance and adaptability to various climatic conditions, allowing cultivation in a wide range of regions.
