BETHOVEN

BETHOVEN F1 is a medium-early hybrid cucumber, intended for cultivation in greenhouses, polytunnels, and under plastic covers. The plant is vigorous and climbing, with 100% female flowering, ensuring abundant and stable fruiting. The optimal planting time is mid-April, when the soil has warmed to 12 degrees Celsius and the threat of frost has passed. The time from germination to the start of fruiting is 42–48 days, enabling an early harvest.

The fruits of the BETHOVEN cucumber are cylindrical, 8–13 cm long, and weigh approximately 70–120 grams. The fruits are dark green, evenly colored, with large and frequent bumps, firm, without cavities or bitterness. The flesh is tender and crisp, with thin skin, making them suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for pickling and salting. The hybrid has an excellent taste and aroma, as well as an attractive market appearance.

BETHOVEN F1 has high yield potential — up to 17.5 kg per square meter, equivalent to approximately 400 centners per hectare. The plant requires regular watering and tolerates shade well, showing increased shade tolerance. The hybrid is resistant to several diseases, including powdery mildew, ascochitosis, and root rots, significantly simplifying care and increasing harvest reliability. The fruits are suitable for long-term transportation and storage, making this variety profitable for commercial cultivation.
