CHILD'S CIRCUS

Child's Circus — an early-maturing, bee-pollinated cucumber hybrid that begins fruiting 40-42 days after germination. The plants are indeterminate with a female flower type, and 1-2 female flowers form in each node. The cucumbers have a cylindrical shape, large warts, white spines, and an excellent flavor without bitterness. Fruit weight ranges from 60 to 120 grams, length 10-12 cm, making them versatile for salad and canning use.

The plants have a strong root system and limited lateral branching, which simplifies care and enhances resistance to adverse conditions. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses as well as in open ground under temporary coverings. Sowing for seedlings is done at the end of April, and transplanting to the ground occurs at the end of May or beginning of June, when seedlings have 3-4 true leaves.

Child's Circus boasts high yields — in plastic greenhouses, it reaches 9-10 kg/m², and in open ground, it can reach 10-12 kg/m². The hybrid is resistant to true powdery mildew, root rot, olive spot, and relatively resistant to false powdery mildew, ensuring stable fruiting and high product quality. The yield of marketable cucumbers reaches 95%, making this variety attractive for commercial cultivation.
